Sílice III - Limited Edition of 21 vases

Sílice III comprises the final 21 vases in this collection; these pieces were created using the same method established in the two previous editions (a combination of mold-based and free-blowing techniques). These 21 glass pieces embody the meeting of opposing forces: fire through which minerals fuse and the void in which they crystalize. The pieces represent the dance between a weighty material and the lightness of the air infused into it; between the rigidity of a mold and the freedom from which unexpected forms arise.
