Peca. (Spanish) n. A freckle.
For this independent design studio based in Guadalajara, Mexico, it’s all in the details.
Since 2007, Caterina Moretti has inspired the brand with her passion for natural materials, exploring texture and form, and bringing nature indoors in surprising ways. Collaborations with local artisans and guest designers have contributed to the spirit of Peca, resulting in a catalog innovative and rich in tradition. Peca welcomes custom projects alongside their own collections of furniture, accessories, and interior design.

Caterina Moretti, the head designer and director of Peca Studio, focuses on the most subtle details of furniture, accessories, and interior design projects, creating timeless pieces that bring the past and present into conversation. As is evidenced in the evocative, earthen materials of Peca’s collections, Caterina's primary source of inspiration is nature. She enjoys exploring the endless shapes and textures organic elements offer and how they can be transformed into soulful, everyday objects that respond to contemporary needs and environments. Also essential to Caterina’s practice is preserving ancestral craft techniques. Her creations honor traditional methods and natural materials through close collaboration with local artisans. The studio’s recognitions are a testament to Caterina’s sensitive creative instincts, the innovativeness of collaboration, and a dedication to crafting unique pieces that invite contemplation and dialogue.
